Private Parties One to One
One of my parties is a fantastic way to gain an introduction to the wonderful world of clay pigeon shooting; learn everything you need to know in the company of your friends in the privacy of your own surroundings. Your first adventure into clay shooting is easy; I will provide you with all the necessary equipment and guide you through basic techniques to break clays in a friendly, safe and educational environment.
Your party will probably entertain 10-12 guests for around 2 to 2½ hours. In practice, anyone who has not used a gun before may find that 10 shots is enough while others may be happy to use many more cartridges, I'll always have enough for your guests! Shooting will usually alternate with everyone having five or six short sessions using a handful of cartridges each time at different targets.
I can set up clay shooting to entertain your guests whether they are proficient gun owners or they have never have seen a shotgun before. All your shooting will take place from a specially constructed safety enclosure and participants will be under effective supervision. The guns and your targets will be designed to give non-shooters the best possible chance to break clays, building their confidence before progressing to more challenging clays. Your event can be a small party for half a dozen close friends or a larger competition for lots more.

There is a minimum charge of £250 for any clay shooting event which will include:-
Automatic electric traps
Safety enclosure(s)
Personal Protective Equipment
Use of a choice of guns
Guidance for gun safety
Guidance for safe shooting
Guidance for basic shooting techniques
Guidance for trap safety
150 clay targets
150 cartridges
This package is an ideal introduction to the sport of clay pigeon shooting for anyone who has never used a shotgun before, I will supply everything that you and your guests need; each person will receive guidance in shotgun safety, handling and technique as required.
This package can also be used as the foundation of your event for guests who have limited experience or hold their own certificates. Extra clays and cartridges will available as required. Each extra 150 targets, (including 150 cartridges), will be charged at £50 in addition to the minimum price of £250.
Mileage will not be charged if your chosen venue is within a reasonable distance of Framlingham.
Please contact me to discuss all the options for your shoot, (guest numbers, their shooting ability, ground suitability, clays only, traps only), so your own event can be planned and costed.
I've always thought that introductory lessons at a gun club are a daunting prospect to the complete beginner; what with the unknown surroundings of the club house and the people in it who are all wearing fancy jackets, carrying expensive looking guns. That's why I have devised my One to One session.
A One to One session is a great way to find out about shotgun shooting without going into an unfamiliar world on your own. Your first adventure into shooting is easy; I will provide you with all the necessary equipment and guide you through basic techniques to break clays in a friendly, safe and educational environment allowing you to experience the thrill that is clay shooting and leave you wanting to explore the sport in more depth. Whatever shotgun sport you choose to follow, whether it's clays or game, this is an ideal opportunity for you to try before you buy.
You would need to have access to a suitable piece of land and the landowner must sign a consent form for us to shoot. Just as any good coach, there will be no guarantee from me that I can make you hit clays but my targets will give you the best chance to find the enjoyment we get from clay shooting. I won't stipulate any time limit; 50 shots amounts to a lot of shooting for a beginner and I'd rather it was done in their own time, usually 1-2 hours. While we're not shooting we'll talk, you ask and I'll try to answer.

One to One prices
There is a minimum charge of £100 for any One to One session which will include:-
A safety enclosure, undercover if necessary
Protective equipment, (ear, eye, head, shooting jacket)
Choice of guns, (under/over, side by side, semi automatic)
Clay pigeon trap(s)
Master eye/dominance test
Guidance for gun safety
Guidance for safe shooting
Guidance for basic shooting techniques
Guidance for trap safety
50 cartridges
50 clay targets
Extra clays and cartridges will available as required. Each extra 25 targets, (including 25 cartridges), will be charged at £10 in addition to the minimum price of £100.
